Who is I.O.U. Richmond?

I.O.U. Richmond is an interfaith, inter-generational, and multicultural group uniting for a singular purpose - community service.  On Sunday, March 30th, 2014, we will spread out across Richmond to feed the hungry, help the homeless, visit the sick, beautify the community, perform random acts of kindness, and much more.
Each of the world's major religions encourages its followers to help others as they journey along their spiritual path.  In May 2012, about 1,000 volunteers representing the Christian, Islamic, and Jewish community went out into the City of Richmond to attempt to meet the needs of the people. In April 2013, we increased our union with representation from local colleges and universities.  The 2-day event called us to work together in order to change our city, our state, our country, and ultimately our world. And we hope this year you will help us do it again!
